My journery so far

It all started....

2001

I was deeply inspired by Viswanathan Anand's remarkable journey and success in the world of chess, which motivated me to take up the game myself and explore the strategic depths it offers.

2007

My first significant achievement came when I became the National Junior Runner-Up, a milestone that marked a pivotal moment in my journey.

2011

Earning the esteemed title of International Master marked a significant milestone in my chess journey.

2013

Achieving the title of India’s 33rd Grandmaster was a proud and defining moment in my journey, solidifying my decision to pursue chess as a career.

2016

I took a major step in my career by transitioning into professional coaching, enabling me to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring chess players.

2017

I had the privilege of training Gukesh, one of India's most promising young chess talents. Through our collaboration, I focused on sharing my knowledge and insights while encouraging him to cultivate his unique playing style and build mental resilience.

2018

I had the privilege of training Surya Sekhar Ganguly, one of India's leading chess grandmasters, a journey that was both challenging and deeply rewarding. Additionally, I have worked with several prodigies and future grandmasters, including GM Leon Luke Mendonca and WGM Varshini.

2021

I am honored to lead Hatsun Chess Academy, India’s first-of-its-kind residential Grandmaster training academy. Dedicated to nurturing young chess talent, the academy offers world-class coaching, state-of-the-art facilities, and a unique residential program that immerses players in a focused and supportive environment. Our mission is to foster excellence and prepare players to excel at the highest levels of the chess world
